Why I’m Running
I have run campaigns all over the state and have been blessed to have worked alongside many grassroots Texans. This seat is a great fit for the experience I have gained over the years working in the Republican Party.
It’s an exciting time for Texas. With the RPT’s current direction and voters overwhelmingly sending a message that running things as if our house isn’t burning is not working anymore. Voters feel frustrated because we know our only line of defense to what is happening IS a strong Republican Party. We must multiply the fighters in Texas and our nation. I am here to do just that.

Meet D’rinda
I have many ideas on how best to serve the state and to expand our reach. I have gained that experience over the years in serving. I was a Precinct Chair (PC) and House District Chair in Collin County. As President of a Conservative Republican club, the membership grew to over 500 members and we created programs resulting in record donations. We were not cheerleaders, we were workers with the goal of getting more conservatives elected. Our family was relocated to Houston in 2017. Just in Time for Harvey! We worked with churches to rebuild with families. I became a PC for my neighborhood and was blessed to watch, learn, and work with godly people as we overturned two school boards. I hosted events for Congressman Wesley Hunt and Representative Tom Oliverson in my precinct. I created and was a founding member of an organization to end Sudden Cardiac Arrest in student athletes. In Houston, I created an organization for speakers to speak to high schoolers about their chosen career paths. Children are my passion. That is why I was PTA President (3 times), Soccer Coach to cheer on children and their accomplishments. They are the best of us and deserve us to fight for them.
